When you send a starting question, Nick reviews it personally. If the work is commissioned, he agrees the scope and takes responsibility for the research and finished findings. The aim is not to make a family account sound more dramatic. It is to test names, dates, places and relationships against the records, cite the sources and make the limits of the evidence visible.

Test the question against the surviving records.
Nick's investigation into the June Cameron case drew on passenger lists, contemporary newspapers, official gazettes, medical registers and archive catalogues across Britain, Malaya, China and New Zealand.
The resulting report distinguished what was documented, what was strongly indicated and what remained unresolved. That is the discipline Nick applies to each Known Again assessment and commission.
